In order to travel at the speed of light, we would need to have a very powerful engine that could propel us forward at that speed. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have the technology to create such an engine, and it’s unclear if we ever will. Even if we could travel at the speed of light, it’s not clear if it would be safe to do so. The faster we go, the more energy we use, and at the speed of light, we would be using an incredible amount of energy. So for now, it seems like we’ll just have to content ourselves with travelling at speeds that are a fraction of the speed of light.
